How can I get a user name and password?

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

Please contact whoever originally supplied you with a user name and password. They should have the information on file.

How can I search for information?

It can be difficult to find the information you want on the Internet. Searches are often frustrating because they turn up so many unwanted pages. So we've put together a guide to help you find what you're looking for.

  • Imagine several words that should be on the page you're seeking, then type them in the Search box. The more words you include, the narrower the results will be. Example: breast cancer chemotherapy. Our Search will only return pages that contain all the words you've searched for -- so if you list too many words you may get nothing.
  • If you want to include a specific phrase in your search, put quotes around the phrase. Example: "heart attack" aspirin
  • It's best to use only lowercase letters, unless you're certain that the word you're hunting is always capitalized. (If you ask our Search to find "Aspirin," it will overlook "aspirin.")
  • After Search has found pages that contain your words, it ranks them by how common your words are on each page. The pages you may want won't always be the first on the list, so check several.
  • Our Search will automatically look for different forms of the same word. So if you search for "pain" it will match documents with the word "painful." However, it won't match different words with a similar meaning, so if "pain" doesn't work, try "ache" or "soreness," for example.
  • Some words, such as "treatment" or "condition," are so common on our site that it might not be helpful to search for them. Try to think of more precise terms that matter to you, such as "chemotherapy" or "complications."

How regularly is BestTreatments updated?
